Cracking Under Pressure

Growing up in South Korea, Angelica first-handedly saw and experienced the educational pressures South Korean society placed upon their coming generations.

The trailer below was made for a group project, tasked to create a docu-series and pitch it to the professor and peers in her Producing for the Entertainment Industry class.

Cracking Under Pressure was a unique project for Angelica. With a rising suicide rate amongst young adults in Korea. Cracking Under Pressure depicts the seriousness that the educational system and its pressures have placed regarding Korea’s upcoming generations and their mental health, often a topic that is regarded as taboo.

This docu-series aims to bring awareness and showcase how challenging it can be for young adults amidst Korean society and their educational prowess and success.
